Brush, Floss, Smile! February is National Children’s Dental Health Month. This month-long national health observance brings together thousands of dedicated professionals, healthcare providers, and educators to promote the benefits of good oral health to children, their caregivers, teachers and many others.

The American Dental Association (ADA) has chosen this year’s campaign slogan to be “Brush, Floss, Smile!” Hygienists say it’s a great time to promote the benefits of good oral hygiene, because developing good dental health habits (including regular dental visits) helps children get a jump start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums.
