Starting July 16, people experiencing a mental health crisis will be able to call or text 988 to reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Nevada Health Centers partners in two residency programs, one in Elko and one in Las Vegas. Residents are doctors who have completed four years of medical school. Our Wendover Community Health Center, located at 925 Wells Avenue in West Wendover, will host Immunization Events every Tuesday. Call 775.664.2220 for an appointment.      

Our Carson City School-based Health Center, located at 618 W. Musser St., will host a Walk-in Immunization Event on Wednesday, May 18, from 9 to 11 a.m. Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations will be available for adults and children. We will NOT host a walk-in event on May 25.

Our Elko Family Medical and Dental Center is offering walk-in immunization clinics each Wednesday. Childhood immunizations will be available. Additionally, the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination is available to children 12 and older.

The Nevada Health Centers Mammovan stopped in Winnemucca on July 20 and 21. While there, the Winnemucca Wheels Car Show was being hosted. When in Rome, ya know? The Mammovan won Honorable Mention! We so appreciate getting out and about and participating in activities hosted in the communities we serve!
