September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, an essential time to recognize the importance of mental health and the resources available to those in need.
Nevada Health Centers offers Behavioral Health Services to support both our patients and employees. As part of our commitment to mental health, we have held safeTALK trainings for our staff, empowering them to recognize and respond to signs of suicide. We’ve also hosted Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) at our Elko Family Medical & Dental Center, equipping the community with the skills to intervene effectively in crisis situations.
This month, we want to remind everyone that support is available. Whether you are a patient or an employee, Nevada Health Centers is here to help. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out.

And remember, 988 is the National Suicide Hotline—available to anyone in need.
