Ashley Bechtol, MD

Bio:

Ashley Bechtol, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician who was a National Institute of Health fellowship recipient during her undergraduate studies, researcher of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) at Stanford University with poster presentation during medical school, published multiple journal articles during residency and received the Ruben P. Diaz Award. She received her medical degree from the University of Nevada, School of Medicine, where she also completed her pediatric internship and residency training. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Bechtol has volunteered at various clinics and fairs around Nevada to provide aid to children in need. She went on a medical mission in Nicaragua and fell in love with community medicine. Her passion for aiding those in greatest need further fueled her love for pediatric medicine. She is extremely compassionate about making medical treatment available to every child and providing education for the families.
