Sangeeta Wagner, DO

Bio:

Sangeeta S. Wagner, D.O., FAAFP is a board-certified Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, D.O. She received her degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of Pacific Pomona, California in the year 2000. In her most recent role, she served as the Medical of Community Health Alliance in Reno and Sparks, Nevada where she provided leadership and support to CMO (Chief Medical Officer) and CCO (Chief Commercial Officer) for all functions of multiple health care centers.

She recently completed the Strategic Healthcare Leadership Certificate Program from Cornell University. Additionally, Dr. Wagner is an Assistant Professor, Clinical Faculty Family and Community Medicine at the University of Nevada, Reno and a Foundation Trustee of the Nevada Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Wagner has resided in Northern Nevada for twenty-two years! She has enjoyed her journey as a physician. Dr. Wagner wanted a role where she could help others while staying challenged. She has spent most of her career treating patients with their acute illnesses in the urgent care setting and for the past ten years she has transitioned to more administrative roles. Dr. Wagner states, "I appreciate teaching and mentoring students as well as providers early in their careers. This gives me an opportunity to pay it forward while keeping my own skills sharp." On her free time, Dr. Wagner enjoys traveling, theater and concerts. She adds, "my two sons, two huskies and husband of twenty-six years keep me happily busy as well."
